How to play

A side-view one-on-one football (soccer) game with big-headed strikers and a springy ball: hold to run, let go to kick, jump for towering headers and charge a super shot. Beat a computer rival in short timed matches across 100 levels in ten arenas, from a backyard to the moon and a space station.

  1. Hold anywhere and your striker in mint runs to that spot. Let go, or tap, to swing your boot; a ball that meets the boot gets struck at the rival's goal.
  2. Swipe up (or press ↑) to jump. Heading a high ball sends it flying, and kicking a ball above your head while you are in the air is an overhead kick.
  3. Clean kicks, headers and saves fill the ring around your head. When it is full, your next kick that connects is the chapter's super shot.
  4. Score more than the rival before the clock runs out; a draw goes to golden goal. A lost match costs one of your three lives and you replay the level.

About Boing Strikers

Boing Strikers is a side-view, one-on-one football game, or soccer if that is your word for it, where two big-headed strikers scramble after a single springy ball. One thumb plays it: hold to run, let go to swing the boot, swipe up to jump. Where the ball meets you decides the shot, so a low ball is chipped, a bouncing ball is driven or volleyed and a ball above your head in mid-air becomes an overhead kick. Headers, saves and well-timed strikes charge a super shot that changes with every chapter, from the Rocket in the Backyard to the Star Shot on the Space Station. Each of the 100 levels is a short timed match against a computer rival, and every ten levels the arena itself changes: sea breezes, a growing snowball, moon gravity, goals on lifts, a see-saw pitch, ice, a bouncy castle, lava vents and switching gravity.

Boing Strikers is an original Rankeno Play game first released in 2026. It runs free in any modern browser on a phone, tablet or computer with nothing to install, and every finished run can go on the ranked Rankeno Play leaderboards.

Boing Strikers tips and strategy

  • Let go a moment before the ball arrives. A ball that meets your boot in the middle of the swing is a PERFECT strike, about half as fast again as an ordinary kick and steered toward the goal mouth, while from level 5 on a ball already sitting on your boot when the swing starts is scuffed straight up at less than half power (in levels 1 to 4 your first dozen are let off lightly).
  • The height of the ball at your boot picks the shot: a low ball right at your toes is chipped up at 55 degrees, a low ball a little further out is driven at 20 degrees, a ball at waist height is volleyed almost flat, and a ball above your head while you are in the air turns the swing into an overhead kick.
  • The super ring has ten segments. A clean kick adds one, a PERFECT kick two, and a header or a save one more; once it is full your next kick that connects is the chapter super, aimed at the part of the goal the keeper leaves open. The rival has a ring too, so when its ring glows, get your head or body in the way: a blocked super leaves the blocker tumbling for a moment.
  • Goals in a row without conceding build a hot streak worth ×2 from the third goal, ×3 from the sixth and ×4 from the tenth, and the streak carries from match to match until the rival scores. Chapter pay also climbs from ×1 in the Backyard to ×5.5 on the Space Station, so late streaks are where the big scores are.
  • Pickups parachute in up to four times a match. Touch one, or hit it with the ball, and it belongs to whoever touched the ball last; from level 4 the rival chases them too. Freeze ices the rival for 2.5 seconds and Fire Kick makes your next three kicks 35% faster.
  • A draw at full time goes to golden goal, and both crossbars start rising so the goals keep growing; if 45 seconds pass without a goal, the striker with more touches in the far third of the pitch wins. A goal in the last three seconds is a buzzer beater worth an extra 150 before multipliers, and a shot already flying at goal when the clock reaches zero is allowed to finish.

Boing Strikers FAQ

How do lives work in Boing Strikers?
Every run starts with three lives, and up to five can be held at once. Losing a match costs one, and the same level restarts at once with a fresh match; a draw never costs a life because it goes to golden goal. Winning a chapter final on levels 10, 20 and so on up to 100 earns a life, a rare +1 Life pickup can drop from level 15, and the Ball Rain bonus matches on levels 5, 15, 25 and onward never cost a life.
What changes from one chapter to the next?
Every ten levels the arena adds a rule: soft sand and sea breezes on the Beach, a ball that rolls up into a growing snowball in Snow, low gravity on the Moon, goals riding window-cleaner lifts on the Rooftop, a tilting see-saw pitch in the Jungle, sliding ice at the Ice Rink, a bouncy-castle floor at the Funfair, lava vents that launch the ball in the Volcano, and gravity switches plus a returning rule on the Space Station. Each chapter also brings three new rivals, a new super shot and a boss in its final.
