How to play

Steer a toy car round tape-road circuits laid across a breakfast table, a sandbox, a school desk and seven more household scenes. Swing hard into the bends to drift and charge turbo, grab sticker power-ups and nudge rivals off the edge on your way through 100 levels.

  1. The car drives itself. Drag anywhere and it turns toward the direction your thumb points; with a mouse, point where you want to go; on a keyboard, steer with ← → or A / D.
  2. Swing hard into a sharp bend and the car drifts. Hold the drift through the bend and it pays a turbo when it ends: yellow, then orange, then pink for the longest slides. Keyboard players hold ↓, S or Shift to drift.
  3. Finish in the top two to move on, or first from level 51. Losing a race spends one of your three lives and you race the same track again.
  4. Drive over stickers for power-ups. Boost and Shield work at once; Syrup, Bubble, Magnet and Spring wait in the item box until you tap it, click, or press Space.
  5. Levels ending in 5 knock the last car out at each lap line, and levels ending in 0 are cup finals against a star rival where only a win counts.

About Crumb Circuit

Crumb Circuit is a top-down toy-car racer in the tabletop tradition: four little cars, roads made of masking tape, and a long drop off the edge of whatever furniture the track is stuck to. Every level is one race of two or three laps against three rivals, and the run climbs through ten chapters of ten: Breakfast Table, Sandbox, Bath Time, School Desk, Garden Path, Workshop Bench, Toy Room, Picnic Blanket, Snowy Windowsill and The Big Kitchen. Each chapter brings its own trouble, from sugar cubes and book ramps to bath water, gaps between desks, garden sprinklers, conveyor belts, a toy train with a crossing light, marching ant columns, ice and a sink whirlpool. The rivals drive exactly the same car with the same grip, and the later ones simply take better lines, react faster and slip up less; each chapter ends with a cup final against a named star car, and after level 100 the chapters come back mixed as endless levels.

This racer is an original game made for Rankeno Play and released in 2026. It needs only a desktop or phone browser, with no app and no sign-up to start driving, and a finished run can be posted to the Rankeno Play leaderboards. Each run begins on the breakfast table at level 1, so every board score was raced from the first grid.

Crumb Circuit tips and strategy

  • A drift only charges while the tape itself keeps turning, so the turbo grows with the corner: about 0.4 seconds of sliding through a real bend earns the yellow tier, 0.9 seconds the orange, and 1.5 seconds round a hairpin the pink. Touching a wall mid-drift drops the charge.
  • Turbo lasts 0.7, 1.3 or 2 seconds at half as fast again as normal top speed, and pays 40, 100 or 220 points. Swinging the car left and right on a straight never builds a tier.
  • Passing a rival scores 50 points, or 150 on the final lap. Turbos, passes and edge skims that come within four seconds of each other build a chain that multiplies them, up to triple points.
  • Holding a fast line within a car width of a drop edge counts as a skim for 30 points. Nudging a rival off the table is worth 300, but a fall of your own costs about two seconds, never a life.
  • Winning pays 600 points plus 10 per level, and up to 400 more for the gap back to second place. A cup final adds 2,000 and a life, and winning the two-car duel at the end of an elimination race adds 500.
  • Every run starts with three lives, and the cap is five. Cup wins return one, and from level 17 a heart sticker appears on levels ending in 2 and 7. A Shield lasts 12 seconds and saves you once from a bump, a sticker hit or a fall.

Crumb Circuit FAQ

Do the rival cars in Crumb Circuit cheat to catch up?
They never do. All four cars share one engine, the same grip, the same drift and the same stickers, and the rivals never read your controls or teleport closer. Early rivals wander off the racing line and miss bends; late ones take tight lines, drift every hairpin and rarely slip, which is all that separates level 1 from level 100.
What do the stickers do in Crumb Circuit?
Stickers unlock as you climb. Boost fires a burst of turbo at once, Shield blocks the next bump or fall, Syrup leaves a puddle behind you that spins out the next car, Bubble floats at the car ahead and traps it for just over a second, Magnet tugs you into the car in front, and Spring hops you over a gap, a puddle or a cluster of trouble.
Is Crumb Circuit free to play?
Yes. Crumb Circuit is free on Rankeno Play and runs in your web browser, so there is nothing to download or install. You can play straight away as a guest; a free account is only needed to save scores to the leaderboards.
Can I play Crumb Circuit on my phone or tablet?
Yes. It runs in mobile and desktop browsers, and the portrait stage scales to fit your screen. On a touchscreen: drag to steer; tap the item box to use a sticker. On a computer: ← → or A / D steer; hold ↓, S or Shift to drift; Space uses your item.
How do the Crumb Circuit leaderboards work?
When you are signed in, every finished run is submitted automatically; a run you leave part-way does not count. Played as a guest? Sign in within an hour in the same browser tab and your guest scores are posted too. Boards rank one best score per player (highest points first) for Today, This week and All time, globally or among your friends. Today and This week reset at midnight UTC, and the week starts on Monday.
