How to play iOO Bouncer
Guide a bouncy little frog over candy blocks and gaps. Tap to flap, bounce on the grass to recharge, and grab stars, magnets and jetpacks.

About iOO Bouncer
iOO Bouncer is a one-tap endless runner. A small frog bounces along the grass on its own while the course scrolls past, and each tap makes it flap higher at the cost of battery charge that every bounce tops back up. You steer it over candy-coloured blocks and gaps for distance and stars, and the pace and the hazards build the further you get.
iOO Bouncer was first released for iPhone and iPad in 2014. This version was rebuilt to run in the browser on Rankeno Play, keeping the original’s vertical battery cell and dotted flight trail, and is free to play with leaderboards.
iOO Bouncer tips and strategy
- A normal bounce adds 9 charge and a flap costs 8, so one flap per bounce roughly breaks even. Two or more flaps between bounces drain the battery steadily.
- PERFECT bounces cost no charge, add 15 and send the frog about 1.6 times as high as a normal bounce. Tap in the last instant before touchdown; an earlier tap is an ordinary 8-charge flap.
- Floating rows of blocks are placed so a plain bounce passes underneath. Stop tapping as you reach one: a flap or a PERFECT bounce there can carry the frog into it.
- Keep at least 8 charge, one flap, in reserve for gaps. If the frog drops into one, a flap can still lift it out until it sinks just below the grass line.
- A magnet lasts 8 seconds and pulls in stars from a wide radius, and stars in its range never count as missed. It is the easiest time to complete whole trails for the 5-per-star bonus.
- When a jetpack’s 3 seconds run out, the frog drops from mid-air with at least 60 charge. Blocks are harmless for a moment, but gaps are not, so watch the landing.

What ends a run in iOO Bouncer?
A run ends when the frog touches a block or falls into a gap; running out of battery does not end it. A jetpack smashes any block in its path for 3 seconds, and blocks stay harmless for 1.2 seconds after it ends.
What happens when the frog’s battery runs out?
With less than 8 charge a flap fails and the battery flashes, but the frog keeps bouncing on its own and each bounce adds 9. PERFECT bounces still work on an empty battery and add 15, and battery pickups add 45.
Is iOO Bouncer free to play?
Yes. iOO Bouncer is free on Rankeno Play and runs in your web browser, so there is nothing to download or install. You can play straight away as a guest; a free account is only needed to save scores to the leaderboards.
Can I play iOO Bouncer on my phone or tablet?
Yes. It runs in mobile and desktop browsers, and the landscape stage scales to fit your screen. On a touchscreen: tap anywhere to flap. On a computer: Space, ↑, W or Enter to flap.
How do the iOO Bouncer leaderboards work?
When you are signed in, every finished run is submitted automatically; guest scores are not saved. Boards rank one best score per player (highest points first) for Today, This week and All time, globally or among your friends. Today and This week reset at midnight UTC, and the week starts on Monday.
