How to play
An eat-and-grow arcade game in space: you are a small, hungry black hole that eats anything smaller than itself, grows, and swallows each sector’s moon, planet or star before the timer runs out. Orbits, gravity slingshots, rival holes and power-ups fill 100 levels in 10 chapters.
- Drag anywhere, hold the mouse button, or use the arrow keys to steer your black hole.
- Anything that fits inside your pull ring spirals in and makes you bigger. Things that are too big only wobble toward you.
- Grow until the gold ring around the sector’s Big One is full, then swallow it before the timer runs out.
- Whip around a planet inside its dotted gravity ring for a slingshot boost, and grab power-up orbs on the way.
- Running out of time, or being swallowed by a bigger rival hole, costs one of your 3 lives and replays the sector.
Controls
- Arrow keys or WASD to steer (or hold the mouse button and the hole heads for the cursor)
- P or Esc to pause
On a touchscreen: Drag anywhere: the hole moves the way you drag, faster the further you pull.

About Gravity Snack
Gravity Snack is an eat-and-grow arcade game set in orbiting star systems. You start each sector as a small black hole with big eyes while bolts, socks, rubber ducks in space helmets and chunks of ice drift past on their orbits, and anything that fits inside your pull ring spirals in and makes you bigger. Grow until the sector’s Big One fits, whether that is a moon, a comet, a lava world, a space station or a whole star, swallow it before the clock runs out, and the next sector warps in at once. There are 100 levels in 10 chapters, from Junk Orbit and Ring Road through Comet Alley, Flare Star, Rival Nursery, Pulsar Point, Wormhole Web, Dark Nebula and Binary Storm to Galaxy Heart, with a boss every tenth level, a Snack Shower bonus every fifth and endless remixed sectors after level 100.
This is an original Rankeno Play game, first released in 2026. It is free to play in the browser on any phone, tablet or computer, and every finished run is scored on the Rankeno Play leaderboards.

Gravity Snack tips and strategy
- You can swallow anything up to 0.92 of your own radius. Each snack within 0.7 seconds of the last one extends your chain, and every six links add one to the points multiplier, up to six times (three times in a Snack Shower).
- Spare time pays 25 points a second (times the chapter bonus) when you clear a sector, and it also gives you a head start: finish with half the clock left and you begin the next sector 15 percent bigger.
- Big planets and stars pull on you. Swing at least 100 degrees around one inside its dotted gravity ring at speed and you leave with a slingshot: 60 percent more top speed for a second and a half, plus points.
- Many space stations, asteroids, comets and nebula clouds that are still too big to swallow shed edible chunks while you keep them inside your pull ring, so you can nibble a giant down to size.
- Rival holes arrive in chapter 5. A rival 10 percent bigger than you can swallow you; one you are 10 percent bigger than runs away, and catching it is worth 1,500 points times the chapter bonus.
- Solar flares glow for 0.9 seconds before they fire and blow 12 to 14 percent of your size off as crumbs you can eat back. Pulsar beams warm up for 0.6 seconds before they turn dangerous, so cross them while they are dim.
