How to play
An arena snake game against computer rivals: steer a glowing noodle across a glass arena, eat pellets of one flavour in a row for a multiplier, and make rivals bump into your body so they burst into food. Loop all the way around a rival to tie it in a knot, then climb 100 levels with a King to beat on every tenth.
- Your noodle always glides forward. Drag anywhere to point it (touch), move the mouse, or turn with the left and right arrow keys.
- Eat pellets to grow. Eating one colour in a row builds a flavour multiplier up to ×5; another colour starts a new chain.
- A rival whose head touches your body bursts into pellets of its colour. Your own body never hurts you, so you can coil and cross it freely.
- Close a loop with your body around a rival and it gets knotted for a big bonus. Pellets inside a closed loop are hauled in too.
- Boost with the BOOST pad (slide from it to steer at the same time), a second finger, the mouse button or Space. Boosting sheds length behind you.
Controls
- ←/→ or A/D turn
- ↑, W or Space boost
- Mouse: the noodle steers toward the pointer, hold a button to boost
- P or Esc to pause
On a touchscreen: Drag anywhere to steer (the noodle heads where your thumb points); start a drag on the BOOST pad to boost and steer with one thumb, or hold a second finger.

About Noodle Lasso
Noodle Lasso is an arena snake game played against computer rivals on a round glass floor that glows over a deep blue abyss. Your noodle slides forward on its own and you only choose where it goes. Rivals that run their head into your body burst into a shower of pellets in their own colour, so the classic move is to slip across a rival's path and let it bump into you. The twist is the lasso: your body never hurts you, and closing a full loop around a rival ties it in a knot and turns it into a bigger feast. Eat one flavour in a row and the multiplier climbs to ×5. A run climbs 100 levels in ten chapters, from Glow Pond and Spark Garden to Warp Lagoon, Volt Yard, Storm Plaza and Neon Crown, and every chapter brings a new kind of rival or a new arena feature.
Noodle Lasso is a Rankeno Play original that came out in 2026. You can play it free in a phone, tablet or desktop browser without installing anything, and finished runs can be submitted to the ranked Rankeno Play leaderboards.

Noodle Lasso tips and strategy
- The flavour multiplier steps up at 8, 20, 36 and 56 pellets of one colour in a row, to ×2, ×3, ×4 and ×5, and ends after 4 seconds without food. A rival bursts into its own colour, so cutting off a pink noodle while you are on a pink chain is the fastest way to ×5.
- A cut pays 100 points plus 3 for every segment of the rival, and a knot pays 300 plus 6 per segment, both times the chapter bonus (up to ×5.5). Knotting a long noodle is the biggest single reward in the game.
- To lasso a rival, your head has to touch your own body at least 14 segments back with the rival's head and most of its body inside the loop. A short noodle can only wrap small rivals, so grow before you go after the long ones.
- Head to head, the longer noodle wins and the shorter one bursts; if you are almost the same length you both bounce away. Turn aside rather than meeting a bigger rival face first.
- A single bump on the arena edge just bounces you and sheds a tenth of your length, but grinding along it charges it up and the fourth bounce in a few seconds zaps you. A crash into a body, a spike mine or a live fence costs a life and half your noodle; the lost half drops as pellets, so turn back and eat some while the two-second ghost keeps you safe.
- Kings, and from level 51 the giants too, try to lasso you when they are longer than you. A red ring and a green arrow show the gap in their loop: slip out through it for an escape bonus before they close it.
