How to play

A one-finger street basketball shooter: drag up toward the hoop and let go, where the length of the drag sets the power and its angle sets the aim. Every basket buys seconds on the clock and moves you to a new spot, and a ball still in the air at 0:00 counts.

  1. Drag up from the lower part of the screen toward the hoop and let go. A longer drag shoots farther; leaning the drag left or right aims the shot.
  2. The ring around the ball shows the power while you drag, and a tick on it marks where your last shot was released, so you can go a little longer or shorter next time.
  3. Every basket adds seconds to the clock and sends you to a new spot. The run ends when the clock hits 0:00 with no ball in the air.
  4. On a keyboard, aim with ← → (or A D), hold Space, ↑, Enter or W to charge and release it to shoot.

About Swish Street

Swish Street is a one-finger basketball shooter on a single shot clock. You drag up toward the hoop and let go: the length of the drag is the power, its angle is the aim, and the ball flies on a real arc that can drop clean through the net, roll in off the rim, kiss off the backboard or rattle out. The clock starts at 40 seconds and every basket adds time, more for a swish or a bank than for a shot that touches the rim, while every make also moves you to a fresh spot on the court, so no single drag can be learned and repeated. When the clock reaches 0:00 a ball that is already in the air still counts, and dropping one is a buzzer beater worth double points plus a bonus, with the seconds it earns keeping the run alive.

The run climbs through 100 levels in 10 chapters without ever stopping, from a quiet suburban driveway to a schoolyard with a sliding hoop, a windy rooftop crane, a boardwalk with a second hoop on the lifeguard tower, a spotlit night court, a snow court with a heavier ball, a market with a lamp post to bank around, a hoop riding a harbour barge, a neon arcade where swishes spawn extra hoops and the Skyline Finals, where a hoop rides the bus. Every tenth level is a Showdown against a local rival, and the endless Encore Courts follow level 100. Swish Street is an original game made for Rankeno Play and first released in 2026; it is free in the browser on a phone, tablet or computer, and your best runs are ranked on the Rankeno Play leaderboards.

Swish Street tips and strategy

  • Watch the tick. The power ring keeps a mark where your last shot was released; if that shot fell short, release a little past the mark, and if it hit the back of the rim, a little before it.
  • Swish for time. On level 1 a swish or a bank adds 4.6 seconds and a shot off the rim 3.6; by level 100 it is 2.8, 3.1 and 1.9 seconds, so clean shots matter more the deeper the run goes.
  • Three swishes in a row set the ball on fire: points are doubled and each swish adds half a second more until you miss. A make streak also raises the points by 5 % a basket, up to double.
  • Lead a moving hoop. From the Schoolyard on, the hoop slides, rises or swings, and from the Rooftop the wind pushes the ball sideways; the arrow left of the clock shows which way and how hard it blows.
  • Miss three times from the same spot and you step 0.8 m closer. Spots 6.75 m out or farther are marked FROM DEEP and pay 1.5 times the points, and a gold ball pays double plus 6 seconds; levels 5, 15, 25 and so on hand you five of them in a row.
  • Tokens float over the rim: make the next shot to grab one. Guide Line shows the arc for 5 shots, Clock +10 adds ten seconds, Big Rim and Magnet Rim last 8 seconds, Fire Ball lights the next 6 shots and Double Ball fires two balls a shot for 6 seconds.

Swish Street FAQ

Does a shot count if the clock runs out while the ball is in the air?
It does. At 0:00 the game slows down and waits for every ball already released. If one goes in it is a buzzer beater: double points plus 1,000 before the chapter and streak bonuses, the seconds it earns go back on the clock and the run carries on.
What happens in a Showdown?
On levels 10, 20, 30 and so on a rival from that chapter shoots beside you, and you race to the level's basket count. Win and you get 2,000 points times the chapter plus 12 seconds; lose and the clock drops by 8 seconds, but the run still moves on to the next level.
Is Swish Street free to play?
Yes. Swish Street is free on Rankeno Play and runs in your web browser, so there is nothing to download or install. You can play straight away as a guest; a free account is only needed to save scores to the leaderboards.
Can I play Swish Street on my phone or tablet?
Yes. It runs in mobile and desktop browsers, and the portrait stage scales to fit your screen. On a touchscreen: drag up toward the hoop and let go. On a computer: ← → or A D to aim; hold Space, ↑ or W to charge, release to shoot.
How do the Swish Street leaderboards work?
When you are signed in, every finished run is submitted automatically; a run you leave part-way does not count. Played as a guest? Sign in within an hour in the same browser tab and your guest scores are posted too. Boards rank one best score per player (highest points first) for Today, This week and All time, globally or among your friends. Today and This week reset at midnight UTC, and the week starts on Monday.
